      <image:title>Lightning - Lightning in San Antonio, TX</image:title>
<image:caption>This is a good reminder to ensure you bring your camera with appropriate gear at all times. Around 3 am a severe thunderstorm passed through, bringing voracious lightning. Everyone in the hotel was rocked awake with lightning striking the building. Lightning is one of my favorite moments to capture as its pure chaos and energy.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Sometimes it pays to not sleep on a long international flight, especially when your flight is in the path of the aurora borealis. Yes, this was one of those moments that you need to quickly find your gear while everyone is sound asleep. You need to stabilize and you need to block all the glare from the cabin. It took a few attempts, but I think this one will do. I’ll be better prepared next time!</image:caption>

<image:caption>On August 21, 2017, a solar eclipse occurred in a very narrow region across the United States. With only 2 minutes to spare I had to capture something we rarely ever see our lifetime. Being in the path of totality is worth experiencing and I enjoyed every second of this.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Desert - Desert Rainbow</image:title>
<image:caption>Capturing a rainbow in the desert is a striking view. This one was all about timing as a storm passed quickly heading east during sunset. I knew at that moment a spectacular rainbow would occur. I raced to the closest location and set up a tripod to perform a sequence of shots for a panoramic view of this beautiful moment that would disappear after 5 minutes.</image:caption>
